#BoycottBrahmastra trends soon after trailer release; netizens react

Trailer of the much awaited 'Brahmastra' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat released today. While the trailer attracted overwhelming response, with in a few hours '#BoycottBrahmastra' started trending on Twitter.

Some netizens urged people to boycott the movie over various reasons. However, the overwhelming response to the trailer was what caught our attention.

This Ayan Mukerji-helmed flick has been making the headlines right from the time it was announced four years ago. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, many other big stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Southern veteran Nagarjuna and Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone will be doing important roles in this movie.

Netizens have liked the way the lead actors have been portraying the various characters and the storytelling seems very original, exactly the thing that has been lacking in the recent Bollywood movies. So most probably Brahmastra will give that much-needed big hit to Bollywood A-listers that they have been looking for.
