Trailer of the much awaited 'Brahmastra' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat released today. While the trailer attracted overwhelming response, with in a few hours '#BoycottBrahmastra' started trending on Twitter.
Some netizens urged people to boycott the movie over various reasons. However, the overwhelming response to the trailer was what caught our attention.
This Ayan Mukerji-helmed flick has been making the headlines right from the time it was announced four years ago. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, many other big stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Southern veteran Nagarjuna and Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone will be doing important roles in this movie.

Mouni Roy will be seen in a never-before avatar in Brahmastra and the first looks of all these stars had already created a lot of interest among the audience. And now the response to its trailer has further created a lot of hype around the movie as the fans have simply loved it and showered it with lots of love and appreciative comments.

Most of the users have called the trailer worth the wait and that it is a big spectacle. The VFX is flamboyant and for the first time can be said to be at par with the international movies. Coming to the story, is rooted in the ancient Vedic theory that the weapons or astras treasure the power of nature like fire, air, and more and can be used to control the world.
Ranbir and Alia’s chemistry is as expected quite sizzling, but it’s the miraculous power of Ranbir’s character of being the one who is never affected by fire and how it takes him on a journey to being the owner of Brahmastra is that will unfold in the trilogy of this franchise.
Netizens have liked the way the lead actors have been portraying the various characters and the storytelling seems very original, exactly the thing that has been lacking in the recent Bollywood movies. So most probably Brahmastra will give that much-needed big hit to Bollywood A-listers that they have been looking for.
