many other Bollywood movies that were expected to do well at the box office flopped badly. The latest release of Ranveer Singh could not even get a decent opening and shockingly, Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey and the YRF movie are battling this weekend for survival which is a big disappointment. 

Indeed, after the rampage of Southern movies like KGF 2, RRR, and Pushpa: The Rise at the Bollywood box-office, things are looking quite bleak for the Hindi cinema.

Trade analysts have predicted that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will get a double-digit opening and will even beat Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi’s opening day collection.

Famous film critic Komal Nahta has said that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s success should silence those who had been predicting doomsday for Bollywood. It has triggered a Twitter war with a few claiming that the movie is getting a good opening simply because of Akshay’s legacy.

The highly anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is all set to hit the theaters today, (i.e 20th May 2022).
