‘Bahut jaldi tere ko goli…’: Urfi Javed receives death threats for her dressing style

Social media sensation Urfi Javed allegedly received death threats through the mail. An unknown person threatened Urfi to stop 'polluting Indians' (with her public appearances and dressing style) or else she will be shot dead.

The sender named Pramod Singh wrote in Hindi, “Bahut jaldi tere ko goli maar di jayegi. Jo tune India mein gandgi phela rakhi hai. Woh sab gandgi saaf ho jayegi.”

Urfi took to her Instagram handle and shared the screenshot of the threat mail. Sharing the screenshot of the mail,’ Urfi wrote, “Regular day in my life.”

This isn’t the first time, Urfi has got death threats. Last year, Urfi had shared how her broker had threatened to rape and kill her. Earlier, a man had sent threatening messages to Urfi that read, “FIR karna ho to karde, sudhar ja tu, Durga ke character karke, dress acha pehen, choice is yours.”

Sharing her story, she wrote, “So this man was my broker 3 years back. He randomly started messaging me. He even called me and threatened to rape and kill me. This is a known man. Now you see the problem with people like Hindustani Bhau, it’s because of that man threatening me even randos think they can call and threaten to rape and kill me because of what I put on my body.”

In another story she wrote, “This is the man, unfortunately, I am not in India otherwise I would have complained about him. But I hope you guys see the problem here. Other men think its ok to call and threaten to kill and rape me. Let me tell you ladies, today it’s me they are trying to control. When they are done with me, it’ll be you. It’s the control that they want.”
