Jaunpur: An elderly woman was battered to death allegedly by her relatives over a property dispute in Baksha area, police said today.

75-year-old Arti Devi was attacked with bricks by her nephews Manoj Mishra, Sunil Mishra and Sunil in Purahemu village yesterday, they said.

She was admitted to a district hospital where she died, police said, adding that an FIR had been lodged against the three accused, who were absconding.
