The National Testing Agency (NTA) gave multiple opportunities to JEE aspirants by conducting JEE Main 2021 in February, March, April and May. Now, it is being asked if NTA will consider giving such multiple opportunities to the NEET aspirants.
Speaking to India TV, NTA Director-General Vineet Joshi has reportedly said that though the proposal to offer multiple attempts a year for the medical entrance exam is under "active consideration", it would not be applicable this year.
"This is under active consideration, and is being discussed. Final call rests with the Health Ministry," India TV quoted Joshi as saying.

The NEET PG and UG 2021 examinations are all set to be held on September 11 and 12, respectively. The NEET (UG) – 2021 will be conducted in 13 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The NEET (UG) – 2021 shall consist of one question paper containing 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
Recently, the NTA extended the registration date for NEET UG 2021. Candidates can now apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test till August 10, 2021 (5 PM).
As per the official notice of NTA, NEET 2021 scores will now be considered for admission to various B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses. “The Result of NEET (UG) - 2021 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The result data will also be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules,” read the notice.
