The Higher Education Department of Odisha on Friday extended the deadline for students selected in the first round of UG Admission for the 2025–26 academic session till June 21, 2025.
Students who were allotted seats but could not pay the admission fees or report to their allotted institutions on time will now get additional time to complete the process.
“Students who have been selected in the 1st round of admission process into U.G. Courses for the Academic Session 2025-26, but could not able to pay the requisite fees or not able to reach at their allotted institution on time, the Higher Education Department has extended the timeline for exercising the Freeze/Slide/Float option, payment of admission fees and reporting at the selected institutions for admission updation till 21st June 2025 at 3 pm. All concerned applicants are advised to complete the process within the revised timeline to confirm their admission,” the notification read.
The department has now allowed such students to:
- Pay the admission fees
- Report at the allotted colleges
- Exercise Freeze/Slide/Float options
This extension is aimed at ensuring that no eligible student misses out due to logistical or payment delays. All concerned applicants are advised to complete the admission formalities within the new timeline to confirm their admission.
