Today, let us know the inspiring journey of IAS Priyanka Goel, who like the protagonist of 12th Fail, IPS Manoj Kumar, failed 5 times, but did not give up. Her hard work paid off and she finally cracked the UPSC exam on her last attempt.
Despite facing failure five times, she did not give up and re-started her preparation fresh. Finally, she went on to become an IAS officer.
Hailing from Delhi, Priyanka attended Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Delhi University. It was her dream to become an IAS officer from childhood.
Right after her graduation, Priyanka started her preparation journey. Unfortunately, she could not even make it to the Prelims cut-off in her first four attempts. However, she was determined and trusted her inner call. The failures failed to break her determination and willpower. She continued to study hard for her fifth attempt. However, her fifth attempt also did not go as per her plan, leaving her devastated with one and last option.
A determined Priyanka put in more effort and changed her strategy for her last attempt. Finally, the world had to bow down to her hard work and she cracked the UPSC exam with the highest marks (292) in optional subjects. In the final list, she secured 965 marks including 193 in the interview.
