Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with a Class X student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) at Konark in Puri district during his interactive programme ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha.’
The visibly delighted Class X student, Tanmay Biswal said the PM’s answer to his question was quite satisfying.
“I feel blessed after talking with Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Biswal.
Biswal’s question to the Prime Minister was ‘how to end malpractice during examinations?’
“Sir said if we pass the examinations without resorting to cheating, then we will become successful in future. But if we indulge in malpractice now, then the time will come when we will have to repent for it. Success can’t be achieved through shortcuts. The answer was quite satisfying,” said Biswal.
“Examinations are no longer a stressful affair. It has been transformed into a festival. And this is due to the Prime Minister’s programme ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’,” said the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Konark, N C Kar.
“The Prime Minister is taking care of the students like parents. Students have many questions that they can’t ask anyone, including their parents and teachers. They get answers to their questions during this programme,” Kar added.
During the programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the parents not to put undue pressure on students over exam scores and advised the students to maintain a balance between smart work and hard work.
‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual interaction programme with students ahead of exams to redress their grievances.
