Proud moment for Odisha as two teachers to get National Teachers' Awards 2024

Making Odisha proud, two teachers from the state have been selected for the National Teachers’ Awards 2024.

The two teachers are- Dwiti Chandra Sahu of Government High School at Billesu (Rayagada) and Santosh Kar of Jaya Durga High School in Narla (Kalahandi). Both the teachers will be awarded at a special ceremony scheduled to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on September 5, 2024.

“It is naturally a matter of proud for me as I have been working for the all round development of the students with unique innovations,” said Sahu.

Sahu and Kar are among 50 teachers from across the country who will be felicitated with the National Teachers' Awards 2024. The award carries a certificate of merit, a cash award of Rs 50,000 and a silver medal.
