Plus-3 admissions in Odisha: 1st selection merit list released

The Odisha Higher Education department released the first selection merit list for the first phase admission into Under Graduated (Degree +3) courses on Tuesday. 

Ravenshaw University in Cuttack has released the highest cut-offs in the Arts, Science (Physical & Biological) and Commerce streams.

Here are the stream-wise highest cut-off marks: 

Arts Stream: Ravenshaw University, Cuttack: 89.67 % (Geography)

Arts Stream: Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 89.67 % (Geography)

Science Stream:
 i) Physical Science: Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 91.17 % (Physics)
 ii) Biological Science: Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 93.20 % (Zoology)

Commerce Stream: Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 88.60 % (Commerce)

Shastri Stream: Sri Radhamadhab Sanskrit (Degree) College - 68.57 % (Shastri)

Self-Financing Stream: Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (Autonomous) College, Bhubaneswar – 87.40 % (Bio-Technology)

Law Stream: Madhusudan Law University, Cuttack -81.00 (5-Year Integrated B.A.LL.B ) 

While the total sanctioned seat strength was 2,74,331, a total number of 2,37,795 students had applied. Of them, 1,78,976 students have been selected. Of the selected students, 72,556 are male students, 1,06,414 are female students and six are Transgender students.  

The numbers of students selected in Science, Arts, Commerce, Shastri, Self-financing and Law are 45614, 109854, 17156, 3574, 2626 and 152 respectively.
