Odisha Class X Half Yearly Exams: Schools allowed to prepare own question papers 

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has clarified that it will not supply question papers for the half-yearly examination of Class X students. In a letter to all district education officers, the board stated that schools should prepare their own question papers.

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha on Tuesday ended confusion surrounding the preparation of question papers for the half-yearly examination of Class X students. 

There had been confusion regarding the preparation of question papers for the aforesaid examination. The schools were in two minds about the preparation of question papers. 

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, in a letter to all district education officers, clarified that the board won’t supply the question papers for the half-yearly examination for Class X.

“The question papers for the said examination for last year i.e. during 2023-24 had been prepared & supplied to the District Education Office point by the B.S.E., Odisha. However, the BSE is making it clear that the question papers for the current session shall not be supplied by the Board. All secondary schools are free to prepare their own question papers or make necessary arrangements for the conduct of the examination within the time period as mentioned in the breakup of syllabus notified by the Board,” read the letter.
