The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce CUET-UG results by September 15, informed UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar.
Kumar further told ANI that the CUET-UG results may be announced by September 15 or even a couple of days earlier.
"All participating Universities should keep their web portals ready to start the UG admission process based on CUET-UG score," he added.
It is worth mentioning that the debut edition of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate was marred by several glitches causing exam cancellations.
Such glitches in the second largest entrance test in the country left the aspirants worried and struggling.
However, the UGC Chief told PTI that the glitches will not affect expansion plans for the crucial exam which includes a proposal to merge it with JEE and NEET and conducting the exam twice a year.
The UGC chairman had in March announced that undergraduate admissions will be conducted in all central universities through a common entrance test and not on basis of class 12 marks.
