The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice inviting online applications for Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) – 2022.
It is a national-level entrance examination for admission to Department of Biotechnology supported Post Graduate Programme in Biotechnology and allied areas in participating Institutions (GAT-B) and for award of DBT – Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology (BET).
As per the schedule announced by NTA, the process of online registration has started from March 11 and the last date for submission of online application form for GAT-B/BET-2022 is March 31, 2022. The exam will be conducted on April 23 and the duration is three hours.
Timings:
GAT-B: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
BET: 3:00 pm to 06:00pm

Computer Based Test (CBT) mode
Medium of Question Paper: English
Fee payable for GAT-B/BET – 2022:
GAT-B: Rs 1200 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 600 for SC/ST/PwD
BET: Rs 1200 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 600 for SC/ST/PwD
GAT-B & BET (Both): Rs 2400 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 1200 SC/ST/PwD

Candidates can apply for GAT-B/BET or both -2022 through “Online” mode only. - The application form in any other mode will not be accepted. - A candidate can only submit one application as multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted under any circumstances
