NTA declares UGC NET Result 2024: Over 53,000 candidates qualify for assistant professor positions

The NTA has released the UGC NET Result 2024. The candidates, who have appeared in the UGC National Eligibility Test, can check their results on the official website of the UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Results can also be accessed at ugcnet.ntaonline.in and nta.ac.in.

For the current year, 1,12,225 candidates have registered for the examination out of whom 6,84,224 candidates have reported. Out of those candidates who appear for the examinations, 4,970 candidates have been qualified for the Junior

Research Fellowship (JRF), 53,694 candidates are qualified for the post of Assistant Professor whereas 112,070 candidates qualify for the PhD program.

The final answer key was released on October 12, 2024, following the provisional answer key issued in September, with an objection window open until September 14, 2024.

The UGC NET June test was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30 and September 2, 3, 4, 5, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM in Shift 1 and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Shift 2.

• Candidates can follow these steps to check their results:

• Visit the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

• Click on the "UGC NET Result 2024" link available on the homepage

• A new page will open, prompting candidates to enter their login details

• Click "Submit" to display your result

• Check your result and download the page

• Keep a hard copy for future reference
