The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has exempted students from appearing for various UG and PG courses for IGNOU TEE June 2021. Students can check the official release of the varsity on ignou.ac.in.
As per the release of IGNOU, students ‘who were enrolled in the first year of the programme in July 2020 admission session through online mode and were eligible to appear in the Term-end examination June 2021 for the first time are exempted from appearing in the TEE exam of the first year courses on the analogy of ODL’.
Check the exempted programmes:
- Bachelor of Arts (Tourism Studies)
- Master of Arts (Translation Studies)
- Master of Arts (Gandhi and Peace Studies)
- Master of Arts (Hindi)
However, the exemption is not applicable to any other component such as Practical Examinations, Assignments, Project Reports, Dissertation, Internship and Field Work Journal (Practicum) among others.
Students, who do not want the exemption, may appear for the Term-end-Examination of the first year courses in the Term-end-Examinations, June 2022 or afterwards till the expiry of the maximum duration of the Programme, subject to the fulfillment of the other eligibility conditions, informed IGNOU.
“The results/marks/grades in the Term-end-Examination of the first year courses, covered under the exemption scheme mentioned above, will be updated by the University only after the completion of the Term-end-Examination of the all courses of second year,” it added.
