The National Institute of Open Schooling issued a notification on Monday regarding the registrations for the Public Exam for the Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) courses.
As per the notification, the next NIOS Public Examination for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses is scheduled to be conducted during October-November 2021.
The registration process for the next NIOS public Exam for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses has started from today (July 27). The last date to apply for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses is till August 16, 2021.

However, the Board is yet to release exam date sheet.
Here are important dates:
For all learners without late fee: Registration begins without late fee July 27 to August 16, 2021
Closing date of registration: August 16, 2021
For learners with late fee of Rs 100 per subject: August 17 to August 26, 2021
For all learners with consolidated late fee of Rs 1500 per learner: August 27 to September 6, 2021
“All the regional directors may note for compliance and also directed to intimate to the concerned AIs for submitting examination fee of Secondary and Senior Secondary Examination 'within the stipulated time only through online mode/ No offline fee will be accepted,” NIOS notification read.
The notification further states that, “The Regional Directors are requested to upload the notification on the Regional Centre website and also issue Press Release in the local dailies. For details about examination fee, please visit NIOS website (www.nios.ac.in). This issues with the approval of the competent authority."
Earlier, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has declared the results of Class 10 and Class 12 public examinations on July 23. NIOS has announced the public exam results on the basis of alternative evaluation criteria for Class 10 and Class 12 students in the absence of June 2021 public exams which were cancelled in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
