NIFT 2024 Admissions: NTA announces date for entrance exam; check last date for online applications

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice for the conduct of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance examination. The entrance examination will be conducted for 2024 admissions in Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes (Regular, NLEA, Artisans) and Ph.D.

As per the official NTA notice, the examination will be conducted on February 5, 2024.

Date of Exam: 5.02.2024

Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)-GAT

Paper Based Test (PBT)-CAT

Exam Cities: 60 cities across India

Eligibility for Bachelor’s Programmes: For Bachelor’s Programmes (B.Des & B.F.Tech), the maximum age should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of SC/ST/PWD categories.

Eligibility for Master’s Programmes: For Master’s Programmes (M.Des, M.F.M and M.F.Tech) and Ph.D, there is No age limit.

Dates for submission of online application forms: From 05.12.2023 to 03.01.2024

Last date for submission of online application forms with late fees of Rs. 5000: From 4.01.2024 to 8.01.2024

NTA further informed that the exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking. For other details, the aspirants can visit the official NTA website.
