The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of submission of online application forms for the National Eligibility Entrance Cum Test (NEET) (UG) -2021. The last date for submission of application form has been extended upto August 10.
The decision to extend the application process has been taken in requests received from students and the hardships faced by them due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NTA said in a notification.
“In view of numerous requests received from students and the hardships faced by them due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to extend the last date of submission of Online Application Forms for National Eligibility Entrance Cum Test NEET (UG)-2021,” the NTA notification read.

The NTA has also extended the date for making corrections (including Centre Cities of Examination, etc.) in the particulars of the Online Application. The correction window will remain open from August 11 to 14 (upto 2 PM).
According to the notification, candidates will have to pay additional fees for making corrections in the Online Application forms. The charges will depend on the changes made in the form.
The fee for fresh applications and additional fees for corrections in the applications can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM.
“The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates,” the examination authority said.
“The dates of downloading of Admit Cards and declaration of result will be displayed on NEET (UG) portal in due course. The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting the NTA website(s) www.nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates,” it added.
