From being a social media star, model to beauty queen, Taskeen Khan’s inspiring journey to cracking India’s toughest exam UPSC is remarkable.

The former beauty queen has an interesting story of cracking UPSC Civil Services Exam and securing AIR-736 in the results that were announced recently.

She had hoped to represent the country on the Miss India stage and win the coveted crown. However, now, she is all set to become a top bureaucrat of the country.

This inspiring journey of Taskeen Khan is a guiding light for those who have lost all hope after failing to crack UPSC.

According to a report in DNA India, Taskeen loves modelling and wanted to become one of India’s top models. She also has the credit of winning Ms Dehradun and Ms Uttarakhand. Her next aim was Miss India.

However, her father’s retirement changed her mind. Apart from being a model and part-time actor, she was a brilliant student. She had qualified for admission to NIT, but her dream of joining the prestigious institute was broken as her father could not afford her fees.

So, she joined BSC in a college. Her father’s retirement and financial constraints in the family changed her mind. Meanwhile, she came across an Instagram video of an IAS aspirant and that’s when she knew her calling.

That’s how her journey of UPSC began. However, it wasn’t an easy journey for her as she failed to crack the exam three times. After three unsuccessful attempts and surviving the test of patience and hard work, she finally cracked the top competitive exam in the recently declared results.
