In a testament to dedication and hard work, IAS officer Priyamvada Ashok Mhaddalkar secured an impressive all-India rank 13 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023. Hailing from Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, Priyamvada's journey to becoming an IAS officer at the age of 31 reflects resilience and determination.

As per DNA report, Priyamvada, initially pursuing a B.Tech degree in Electronics Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai, took an unexpected turn in her career. Following her MBA from IIM Bangalore, she ventured into the financial services sector, working with various companies in investment banking for six years. Notably, her career led her to an exchange programme in Germany.

In July 2020, Priyamvada decided to shift gears and left her job to focus on UPSC studies. Opting for online learning and self-study, she embarked on her second attempt at the Civil Services Examination, securing an impressive rank.

On her UPSC decision, Priyamvada expressed a long-standing desire to appear for competitive exams and serve society like her father who was a government servant.
