Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has launched its offline admission process for Balvatika 2 and Classes 2 to 12 for the 2025-26 academic year. Parents can submit application forms directly at their preferred schools until April 11, marking the first phase of enrollment after online registrations closed earlier.

It is pertinent to note that Class 11 admissions will open separately at a later date.

Key Dates to Remember

The offline admission window runs from April 2 to April 11, 2025, with forms accepted between 10 AM and 4 PM at school offices.

Key dates include:

First Provisional List: April 17 (displayed on school notice boards and websites).

Admission Period: April 18–21 for selected candidates.

Final Deadline: June 30 for all classes except Class 11. Vacant seats may be filled until July 31.

Eligibility & Required Documents

Balvatika 2 requires children aged 4–5 years as of March 31, 2025. For Class 2, students must be 6–8 years old, with age limits rising progressively for higher grades.

Parents must submit:

  • Birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and address proof.
  • Previous class marksheet, school transfer certificate.
  • Income, caste, or EWS certificates (if applicable).
  • Parent’s job transfer/service certificate (for government employees).
  • APAAR ID details

How to Apply

  1. Collect or download the admission form from the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya.
  2. Submit the filled form with photocopies of documents at the school by April 11.
  3. Check the provisional list on April 17 and complete admission formalities by April 21.
  4. Schools will display eligibility lists, waitlists, and final selections publicly and on their websites/social media.

Final Deadlines & Class Limits

While admissions close on June 30, Deputy Commissioners may extend the window until July 31 for unfilled seats. Each class section will be capped at 40 students to maintain quality.
