The National Testing Agency (NTA) has offered an opportunity to candidates for correction of particulars in the online application form of JEE (Main) – 2023 Session 1. The correction window will open today enabling candidates to edit or modify particulars in their application forms.
"National Testing Agency is in receipt of numerous representations from the candidates regarding giving them an opportunity to edit/modify their particulars in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023 Session 1," the NTA said in a release.
"In view of the above and in the interest of the students, it has been decided to provide an opportunity to the candidates for modifying their particulars in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023 Session 1," the NTA added.
As per the NTA, the correction facility will be available till tomorrow January 14, 2023 (up to 11.50 pm).
"All the registered candidates for the said Examination are advised to visit the website (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/) and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction/s in their particulars, in their respective Application Form, if required," the NTA said.
"The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 14 January 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI," it added.
The NTA further said that it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them and advised the candidates to do the correction very carefully, as 'no further opportunity for correction will be given.'
