IIT Roorkee opens applications for GATE 2025, know all important dates

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has launched the online application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025, starting August 28. 

Interested candidates can apply through the GATE 2025 portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Key Dates

• Application Deadline (without late fee): September 26, 2024

• Application Deadline (with late fee): October 7, 2024

Examination Dates

• February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025

• Two shifts each day

Candidates are allowed to appear for a maximum of two subjects in GATE 2025.

Required Documents

• Photograph of the candidate (as per information bulletin requirements)

• Signature of the candidate (as per information bulletin requirements)

• Scanned copy of category certificate (SC/ST) in PDF (if applicable)

• Scanned copy of PwD certificate in PDF (if applicable)

• Scanned copy of Dyslexia certificate in PDF (if applicable)

• Scanned copy of a valid photo ID: Aadhar UID (preferable), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License

Application Process

• Visit gate2025.iitr.ac.in

• Click on the GATE 2025 application link (GOAPS portal)

• Register by entering the required details.

• Fill out the application form

• Upload the necessary documents and pay the exam fee

• Submit the application and save a copy of the confirmation page
