ICAI postpones remaining CA exams due to India-Pakistan Tensions

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Friday announced to postpone the remaining papers of CA Final, Intermediate & PQC Examinations [International Taxation–Assessment Test (INTT AT)] May 2025.

The examinations were scheduled to be held from May 9 to May 14, 2025 respectively. In its latest notification, the ICAI informed that the examinations have been cancelled in view of the tense security situation in the country.

The students have been advised to visit the official website for more updates regarding the rescheduling of the examination.

It is pertinent to mention here that the tension has increased between India and Pakistan post the Pahalgam terrorist attack. In response to the killing of the innocent tourists, India recently launched a coordinated strike at terror camps.

Later, there have been continuous attempts by the Pakistan to provoke India and is resorting to ceasefire violation along the LoC. The Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan firing.

Pakistan's armed forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions along the entire western border on the intervening night of May 8-9, which were "effectively repulsed",  the Indian Army said.
