Data progression of Class 11 students; class promotion activity deadline fixed in Odisha

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has instructed principals of all higher secondary schools to complete the necessary data progression activity of Class 11 students to Class 12 UDISE+ portal.

As per the official instructions, the portal has been opened for the data progression activity of students currently enrolled in Class 11 in the academic year 2024-25 to Class 12. The process is to be carried out through the SDMS module available in the school login, as per the instructions of OSEPA.

Deadline Fixed, Check Instructions

The progression activity is enabled under the SDMS module for the year 2025-26. The "Progression User Manual" is available in the school login.

All students already part of the UDISE+ database, except those in the final year (Class-12), are to be progressed. No fresh data entry is required for them.

Only new admissions require fresh data entry. The Draft Data Capture Format (DCF) of 2025-26 is available for reference.

The class promotion for existing students should be completed by 1st July 2025, so that the newly promoted students are reflected in the system accordingly.

The entire data entry activity, including progression and fresh entries, must be completed by September 30, 2025, without fail.
