Aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will launch a parenting calendar for 2025-26 academic session of Friday.
According to the CBSE, the move aims at promoting student well-being by empowering schools, educators, and parents to recognize and nurture each child’s unique strengths.
The Parenting Calendar will include structured orientations, meetings, and initiatives to facilitate meaningful engagement between schools and parents. It will provide recommendations for effective interactions and encourage ongoing collaboration to ensure student growth and well-being, a notification issued by the CBSE read.
This framework aims to:
Strengthen parent-teacher partnerships
Enhance student outcomes for holistic development
