The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important update regarding the Term 1 examination of class 10 and 12 students.
As per the latest notice, the Board has extended the dates for online dispute redressal mechanism for the Term 1 examination. In a circular issued on March 19, the CBSE had stated that the online dispute redressal mechanism for the Term 1 examination was made available for class 10 students up to March 26 and March 31 for class 12 students.
However, many failed to apply within the due date. “Hence, as a special measure, the CBSE is extending the last date till April 20, 2022,” the Board said in its latest circular.
The Board has listed several steps that needs to be followed by the students as well as the schools. It includes:
- If any student wishes to raise any dispute regarding performance in Term 1 exam, they may inform his/her school in writing.
- The concerned school will process the request of the student. if the dispute could be resolved at the level of the school, the outcome will be communicated by the school to the student in writing.
- If the dispute is to be resolved by CBSE, a report combining all the disputes received by the schools may be uploaded in one go on the school request submission for resolution.
- If any school was not able to upload their request on the portal earlier or uploaded partial information, they can upload the complete details on the particular link so that the dispute will be addressed by CBSE as per the norms.
