The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the Class 10 and Class 12 examination results for 2025 on May 13, with the Bhubaneswar region maintaining steady performance across recent years.
Over the years, Odisha has recorded a steady increase in the pass percentage of students. Besides, students have also been able to shatter past records.
The following statistics highlight trends in students’ outcomes for Classes 10 and 12 between 2023 and 2025:
Class 12 Performance Shows Consistency
In 2025, the Bhubaneswar region recorded a Class 12 pass percentage of 83.64, with 16,92,794 students appearing for the examination. This marks a slight increase compared to 2024, which had a pass percentage of 83.34 and 16,21,224 examinees.
In 2023, the region had performed marginally better with an 83.89 pass percentage and a total of 16,96,349 students. The figures indicate a consistent academic trend in senior secondary results over the past three years.
Class 10 Results Stay Above 90 Per Cent
For Class 10, Bhubaneswar’s pass percentage remained high across all three years. In 2025, the pass rate stood at 92.64 with 23,71,939 students. The 2024 results had a slightly lower pass percentage of 92.03, with 22,38,827 candidates.
In 2023, the region recorded its highest pass rate in three years at 93.64, with 21,65,805 students appearing for the examination.
Overall Trends Remain Stable
The overall data for both Class 10 and Class 12 highlights stable performance trends in the Bhubaneswar region. While minor fluctuations are visible year-on-year, the pass percentages have remained consistently above 83 for Class 12 and 92 for Class 10, reflecting sustained academic outcomes.
