The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the process for students of Class 12 to obtain scanned copies of their answer sheets. This facility is intended for those who are dissatisfied with their examination results. Students may apply online via the official portal: cbse.gov.in.
Once candidates receive the scanned answer sheets, they will be eligible to apply for verification of marks through the same portal. According to the CBSE’s stipulations, only those who have requested and obtained the scanned copies may proceed with the verification and re-evaluation processes.
Steps to Apply for CBSE Scanned Answer Sheets
To obtain photocopies of their Class 12 answer books, students should follow these steps:

Click on the link related to scanned copies of answer sheets

Choose the appropriate class

Fill in all required details for registration

Submit the form

Save the generated application number for future reference
An application fee of Rs 700 per subject is applicable for receiving the scanned copies.
Verification and Re-evaluation Schedule
The window for verification of marks and re-evaluation will be open from May 28 to June 3, 2025, through the official CBSE website. Students who wish to contest their results further must apply within this period.
The applicable fees are as follows:
