What is APAAR ID?

APAAR ID is a unique 12-digit identifier designed to consolidate students' academic and extracurricular records in a single secure digital platform. Integrated with the DigiLocker ecosystem, it allows students to store and access their achievements, exam results, learning outcomes, and participation in activities such as Olympiads, sports, and skill training. This system also supports the "One Nation, One Student ID" initiative, ensuring continuity and accessibility throughout a student's educational journey.

The APAAR ID system ensures data confidentiality, with all sensitive data masked while sharing with authorized entities, adhering to the highest standards of security and privacy.

Key Objectives:

1. To provide a unified record of students' academic and non-academic achievements.
2. To enable data-driven decision-making for personalized learning and effective policy planning.
3. To support seamless transitions during inter-school transfers or changes in states/districts.
4. To enhance transparency and efficiency in educational administration.
