A glimpse into the successful journey of IAS Shrestha Sree who cracked UPSC in 2022
It is the dream of lakhs of UPSC aspirants to crack India’s toughest exam and become an IAS or IPS officer. After years of rigorous preparation and leaving behind countless young minds, only a few brilliant minds manage to make it to the list.
Among those brilliant minds is Shrestha Sree from Dhanbad, Jharkhand who secured a remarkable feat in the Civil Services Exam (CSE) UPSC 2022. With an AIR 444, Shrestha’s journey to success is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
Facing an extensive interview, Shrestha secured 190 marks in the interview which stands as an impressive achievement in itself and shows the remarkable depth of her knowledge and preparation.
A student of DAV School, she later joined Miranda House, Delhi for a BA program focusing on Political Science and International Relations. After passing out with flying colours, she went on to pursue her Master’s degree from the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) before finally beginning her UPSC journey, a report in News 18 stated.
After successful completion of the IAS professional course phase-1 training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, she has been posted as Assistant Collector, Office of the District Magistrate & Collector, Gomati District, Udaipur, Tripura.
