(image) Jalandhar: There is dichotomy in the way the western countries, including US, tackle the issue of terrorism and so India should not enter into any treaty with them on this matter, CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan today said.

"The West and US have double standard on terrorism...

India was facing terror threats for long time but for them it is a local issue but when 9/11 attacks happen US and its allies projected it as a global threat," he said during a function organised by Hind Samachar Group.

"These nations are selfish and India should not enter into any treaty with them and it will be of no use for us.

They will look for their benefits only," he added.
