Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal today said the Congress should not try to gain political mileage over Prime Minister Manmohan Singh`s next month visit to Punjab to inaugurate Mohali international Airport and Khalsa heritage project at Anandpur Sahib.

"The PM is part of the country. He is visiting Punjab next month in connection with two international events. Congress should refrain from playing politics over such international functions," Punjab Deputy Chief Minister and SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal told reporters here.
