Jajpur: A badly decomposed body of a young woman belonging to a religious minority community was recovered in Brahmabarada village under Dharmasala police limits here on Wednesday morning.

As per reports, the body of deceased identified as Anara Parveen was found in decomposed state. Besides, her mother, Zahira Bibi, was also rescued in critical condition and has been admitted to Jajpur hospital.

It is suspected that Parveen, aged around 20 years, was done to death after pouring acid on her about 2-3 days ago.

Husband deserted Zahira and her daughter were staying at her parent’s near Estama ground since last eight years.

Police officials have started investigating the case.
