Keonjhar: In yet another loot case in the state, ten to twelve armed dacoits have allegedly looted Rs 50,000 in cash, jewelries worth over Rs 1 lakh and four mobile phones from a businessman’s home late on Thursday night at the shedding area of Badbil here.

The dacoits had allegedly entered the house of businessman Pintu Sahoo last night and have attacked him and his brother Ompraksah with sharp weapons.

After being informed, police reached the spot but it was too late. However, it seized a country made pistol from Pintu’s house which was left by the dacoits during the brawl with the family members.

Meanwhile, Omprakash has been shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital after his condition was found to be critical.
