Vaccination done in 54% schools, remaining to be inoculated within 15 days

To protect unvaccinated children from exposure to Covid, the district administration has decided to vaccinate all the students in the age group of 12 to 17 in all the schools of Cuttack and Khordha district. While 54% of schools have vaccinated their students, the administration plans to vaccinate the remaining schoolchildren over next 15 days.

The decision comes in the wake of 303 new Covid cases in Khurda district and 115 cases in Cuttack. The decision was taken after BMC officials held a meeting with authorities at least 60 private and government-run schools.
