With Odisha witnessing a downward trend in the daily count of Covid-19 infections since last week, the State’s Public Health Director, Dr Niranjan Mishra on Thursday said it seems like the State has touched the peak during the ongoing third wave of the pandemic.

Speaking to media, Mishra said, “The State is reporting around 5000-7000 new cases on a daily basis. The single-day cases and total active cases are in a declining trend."
