Ganjam: In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, another tragic incident of the virus breaking family cord came to the fore from Aska area of Ganjam district on Saturday.

As per reports, the dead bodies of a mother-daughter duo from Dharmaraypur village under Sanakhemundi block were reportedly cremated by the volunteers of a social organisation as the family members didn’t touch the bodies suspecting that the death might have occurred due to Covid-19 infection.
