Odisha sees six-fold rise in COVID infection in 10 days; 15 days after Suna Besha vital, says health dept

Odisha's COVID-19 tally rose to 1,29,518 on Wednesday as 401 more people tested positive for the infection. This was the highest single-day spike in COVID-19 cases since February 22, when the state had recorded 428 infections.

As the COVID cases in Odisha witnessed a steep rise last week, the Odisha health department raised concerns and advised to remain alert for the next 10-15 days after Bahuda Yatra and Suna Besha.
