The global Covid-19 caseload has surpassed 600 million, a grim milestone in the pandemic that is still continuing after it first broke out in early 2020, according to the latest data from the World Health Organization (WHO).

As of Friday morning, the overall caseload stood at 600,555,262, with a total of 6,472,914 deaths.
