Commissionerate Police Cracks Down On Covid Norm Violators

Bhubaneswar: Amid enforcement of lockdown restrictions, the Twin City Police has come down hard on Covid norm violators for breaking the regulations despite regular awareness by the authorities. 

The Commissionerate Police has issued penalties to lockdown guidelines violators after raids at several places in Bhubaneswar. Tea stalls found operating despite ban during the lockdown period have been fined Rs 1000 while at many places people riding motorcycles to buy essentials like food items have also been dealt with strictly. 

As many as 35 violators have been charged with penalties while vehicles of 12 people have been picked up by the police. 
Owners of several shops have been fined while several shops have been sealed in Jharpada haat.
