According to sources, the minor girl has been successfully rescued by the police. A team of the Commissionerate Police traced and recovered the girl near Mancheswar Railway Station just 30 hours after she disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
Victim girl had left home yesterday
The girl had left home yesterday to buy fish but did not return. Taking the matter seriously, the Commissionerate Police quickly formed a special team to investigate. After extensive searches across various locations, the girl was eventually rescued from an individual’s house near the railway station.
Police authorities have not yet disclosed further details about the circumstances of her disappearance, but probes are on to determine whether any foul play was involved.
“Multiple teams were immediately formed in this case and the teams carried out a manual search, tapped the intelligence network, and collected digital evidence along with NSS data from the CCTV surveillance system. It was a kind of man-machine combination,” Twin City Police Commissioner, Suresh Dev Datta Singh, said in a presser.
