(image) Rourkela: Three teams of crime branch officials led by Aswini Patnaik, DSP have reached here to investigate the alleged fake encounter cases in the district during last three years.

Several people were killed by patrolling police parties in the alleged encounter in Lahunipara, Bisra, K.Balang, Chandiposh and Brahmanitarang police stations which created suspicion in the minds of the people, who approached to the Human Rights Commission to investigation.

The teams will visit different police stations and meet cross section of people in the remote areas during their visit, the police sources said here today.
