Midnapore(WB): A businessman was on Sunday night shot dead by unidentified miscreants and one of his employees was seriously injured at Kharagpur in West Midnapore district, police sources said.

RadheyShyam Gupta was closing his shop at Kharida Bazar in Kharagpur at around 10 pm when some unidentified miscreants fired at him, the sources said. One of his employees was also injured by the miscreants and he has been admitted to Kharagpur State General Hospital, they said.
