Businessman shot dead in Bonai

The deceased businessman identified as Peetambar Sahu, who also owns a grocery shop, was attacked by the assailants while he was watching television in his shop along with four other persons.

The assailants, who fled from the scene instantly, could not be identified as they were wearing masks.

Meanwhile, Bonai police have recovered the body and have started investigating the case with the help of a scientific team.

Though the motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained, efforts are on to nab the culprits.
