Amid the fluctuation in gold and silver rates across the country, the price for 24-carat gold per 10 gram reached Rs 52,050 on Wednesday in Bhubaneswar with a rise of Rs 100 from Tuesday’s price.
For 23-carat, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal is Rs 50,200 while the rate of 22-carat gold reached 49,200.
Similarly, the rate of 20, 18 and 14-carat gold remained at Rs 44,500, Rs 40,300 and Rs 32,000, respectively. Pure Ginni (gold coin) is being traded at Rs 40,600.
On the other hand, one kilogram of silver is being sold at Rs 57,600 (With GST) in Bhubaneswar, following an increase of Rs 100 from Tuesday’s price.
Meanwhile, gold is traded at Rs 5,200 per gram (GST 995) and Rs 5,165 (Cash 995) in Cuttack.
Notably, the price of gold and silver varies for different regions based on certain parameters such as the excise duty, making charges and state taxes.
Earlier on Tuesday, spot gold prices for 24-carat gold in Delhi were up by Rs 6 per 10 grams in line with firm COMEX gold prices.
In the international market, gold was trading higher at USD 1,711 per ounce while silver was flat at USD 18.80 per ounce.
