Amid the fluctuation in gold and silver rates across the country, the price for 24-carat gold per 10 gram reached Rs 52,700 on Monday in Bhubaneswar with a decrease of Rs 300 from Saturday’s price.
For 23-carat, the price of 10 gram of yellow metal reached Rs 50,800 while the rate of 22-carat gold reached 49,800.
Similarly, the rate of 20, 18 and 14-carat gold remained at Rs 45,000, Rs 40,800 and Rs 32, 300 respectively. Pure Ginni (gold coin) is being traded at Rs 41, 000 on Saturday.
Notably, factors such as state taxes, excise duty, and making charges lead to changes in the price of gold in India.
In the international market, gold was quoting lower at USD 1,723.63 per ounce while silver was flat at USD 19.22 per ounce.
As per the latest report, gold is being traded at Rs 5300 per gram (GST 995) and at Rs 5220 (Cash 995) in Cuttack today.
