It’s EV first, petrol next for Tata Harrier!

Tata have already shown the 1.5-litre TGDi engine at the Auto Expo and we intend to bring it. However, it’s slightly far away – one year and beyond.

Tata Harrier EV

Tata Motors has been making headlines owing to the launch of the new Harrier and Safari facelifts. The company recently announced the pricing for both SUVs, but along with that, it has announced another important thing.

At this year’s Delhi Auto Expo, Tata Motors showcased a Harrier EV concept as well as the 1.5-litre turbocharged gasoline direct injection (TGDi) engine that would be offered under the hood of the Harrier SUV. And while the 1.5L TGDi engine has been in the works for a while now, the electric Harrier would probably arrive before its petrol-powered counterpart.
