If you are planning to buy a car in July, and considering Renault as an option then you are up for a big surprise.
The French car maker is offering big discounts on its lineup of all three cars worth up to Rs 84,000 for the month of July 2022. Loyalty benefits (LB) are hefty for existing Renault car owners. LBs will be available in the form of Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), Road Side Assistance (RSA), extended warranty and low finance, alongside additional cash discounts.
Renault Triber
Discounts worth up to Rs 84,000
Launched in India in 2019, the sub-4mtr MPV from Renault is available with just one engine option - a 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol unit that produces 72 hp and 96Nm of torque. However, the Triber’s USP is its seating arrangement which can accommodate up to 7 people despite its smaller proportions.
For the month of July, the Triber is available with discounts up to Rs 94,000. These include Rs 10,000 cash discount along with Rs 20,000 exchange bonus, with Rs 10,000 corporate discount and Rs 44,000 loyalty benefits. There’s an additional Rs 10,000 discount on the scrappage policy, reported Times Now.
To mark the Triber’s 1,00,000 unit sales milestone in India, Renault launched the Triber Limited edition this February. This edition does miss out on the Rs 40,000 worth of cash benefits. Instead, it is available with Loyalty benefits worth Rs 44,000, and Rs 10,000 discount with a scrappage policy.
Renault Kwid
Discounts worth up to Rs 62,000
The Renault Kwid is the company’s subcompact hatchback offering in India that rivals the likes of Alto, Santro etc. It is available with two engine options and two variants. As per a Times Now report, the 0.8-litre option is available with Rs 25,000 cash benefits along with Rs 37,000 loyalty benefits. The 1.0-litre option is available with Rs 30,000 worth of cash benefits along with the usual Rs 37,000 loyalty benefits. Scrappage discounts are also available with both.
Renault also has several unsold Kwid stocks from 2021 in its inventory. Those models are available with cash discounts worth Rs 35,000, but the 2022 models are available with cash discounts worth Rs 30,000.
Renault Kiger
Discounts worth up to Rs 65,000
The compact SUV offering from the French manufacturer is available with two engine options - the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine option that produces around 100 hp and 152 Nm of torque, and the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated unit that produces 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque. Both the variants are available with loyalty benefits worth up to Rs 55,000. However, it is only corporate discounts worth up to Rs 10,000.
Renault India is also offering its customers a free monsoon service camp from 8th to 14th July. The week-long service camp will take place across all Renault India showrooms and dealerships. The service camp will provide a free car check and car wash, and also have accessories on offer for 50% discounts.
