Automobile baron, Anand Mahindra shared a video on Twitter praising a rural youth using an EV. He showered praises on him for his inventiveness, originality, and innovation.
The youth in the video is driving his pals in unison on the road in his custom-built six-seater EV two-wheeler.
Mahindra claimed, need is the mother of invention and this concept could find a global use as a tour "bus" in busy European tourist destinations.
According to the man in the video, it is powered by electricity and can travel up to 150 kms on a single charge. This automobile costs between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 12,000. Additionally, the youth asserted that the car can be charged at just Rs 10.
Sharing the video, Mahindra wrote, “With just small design inputs, (cylindrical sections for the chassis @BosePratap?) this device could find global application. As a tour ‘bus’ in crowded European tourist centres? I’m always impressed by rural transport innovations, where necessity is the mother of invention.”
